Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
Froppio LLC ("Froppio," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Froppio apps, websites, booking pages, and related services (together, the "Services"). Froppio helps service businesses manage their clients, appointments, payments, forms, and messages.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to:
- Businesses and team members: people who create a Froppio account to run a business or who join a business as a team member.
- Clients: people who book, pay, fill out forms, or message a business that uses Froppio.
Terms that are not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms and Conditions. This policy describes our practices; it does not by itself obtain consent to receive text messages.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: your name, email address, phone number, password, and profile photo.
- Business information: business name, address, locations, services, prices, hours, availability, team members, website content, and other settings you enter.
- Client information: client names, contact details, appointments, notes, form responses, and other details that a business enters or that a client provides when booking or completing a form.
- Messages: the content of text messages, emails, and conversations sent through the Services.
- Text-message consent: when you submit a booking request with the optional SMS box selected, we record the mobile number, business, disclosure text and version, opt-in method, and submission time as evidence of your choice.
- Support requests: information you share when you contact us for help.
Payment information
Where enabled, card payments, saved payment methods, and paid Froppio subscriptions use Stripe. Card or bank details entered through Stripe are collected and stored by Stripe, not by Froppio. We receive limited information from Stripe, such as payment amounts, statuses, payment references, card brands, and last four digits, so that we can show transaction history and operate the Services. Businesses may also record cash payments they receive. Stripe's use of your information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Information we collect automatically
- Logs and diagnostics: our servers record technical information needed to operate and secure the Services, such as request times, error details, and IP addresses.
- App performance, usage, and error monitoring: where configured, our business app, public website, booking pages, and forms use Grafana Cloud (Grafana Labs) to detect crashes and fix problems. It records errors and crash details, app performance (such as load times and slow or failed requests), and how the app is used (such as which screens are opened, which buttons are tapped, and which actions succeed or fail), together with a random session ID, browser and device information, and, for signed-in business users, the Froppio account ID and business or location context. Technical request information can include IP addresses. We design this data to exclude the content you enter: we do not record what you type, and we mask or remove names, email addresses, phone numbers, and message content before the data is sent.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and browser or device storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and maintain monitoring sessions. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels for ad networks, or social media widgets. You can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings, but some features, such as staying signed in, may not work without them.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide the Services: create and manage accounts, schedule appointments, process payments, deliver forms and messages, and host booking pages.
- Communicate with you: send appointment confirmations and reminders, receipts, account and security notices, and responses to your requests.
- Provide support: troubleshoot problems and respond to questions.
- Improve the Services: analyze aggregated usage to fix bugs, measure performance, and decide what to build next.
- Keep the Services safe: verify accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Meet legal obligations: comply with laws, respond to lawful requests, and resolve disputes.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as described below.
- Between businesses and their clients: when a client books with or messages a business, the business sees the information the client provides. Clients see the business information that the business chooses to publish.
- Within a business: business owners and authorized team members can see information in their business account.
- Service providers: we use trusted companies to run the Services on our behalf. They may use information only to provide services to us. These include:
- Supabase: hosting, database, and authentication.
- Stripe: payment processing, saved payment methods, and subscription billing.
- Twilio: text messages and phone numbers.
- Email delivery providers: sending transactional emails.
- Grafana Labs: app performance and error monitoring, as described above.
- OpenRouter and the selected AI model provider: when a business uses AI reply suggestions, relevant message text, the client's first name and business notes, and appointment, service, location, and payment context are sent to generate suggested replies. Structured phone numbers, email addresses, last names, and card details are excluded from that context, but free-text messages or notes may contain personal information. Generating suggestions does not send them to the client.
- Legal and safety: we may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Froppio, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if Froppio is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. This Privacy Policy will continue to apply to that information.
- With your consent: we may share information for other purposes with your permission.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Businesses' responsibility for client data
Businesses that use Froppio decide what client information to collect and how to use it. When we process client information for a business, we do so on that business's behalf and according to its instructions. Each business is responsible for having a lawful basis and any required notices or consents for the client information it collects, including sending text messages to its clients.
If you are a client and have a question about information a business holds about you, please contact that business directly. We will help businesses respond to these requests where appropriate.
Text messages
Where enabled, businesses use Froppio and Twilio for appointment-related texts and two-way customer support, including questions about services and scheduling. We process sending and receiving numbers, message content, and messaging records to provide these features. Businesses are responsible for obtaining any required consent and honoring opt-out requests; entering a phone number or accepting this policy does not by itself give SMS consent.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to the sending number to stop texts or HELP for help. Keyword responses and blocking are handled by the messaging provider where supported and configured, not by a separate Froppio keyword-response feature. You can also contact the sending business or support@froppio.com for assistance or to request that texts stop if a keyword does not work. Opting out for one sender does not automatically opt you out for other businesses or cancel an appointment. See our text messaging terms for details.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. We share messaging information with providers such as Twilio as necessary to operate messaging and meet applicable legal requirements.
How we store and protect information
Our service providers store information in the United States. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and authentication, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Retention
- Account and business data: kept as needed to provide the Services. Account closure and deletion requests are reviewed for applicable retention obligations, business records, and technical backup limitations; contact us about your request.
- Payment, tax, and legal records: kept as long as required by law or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
- Server logs and app monitoring data: kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
Copies in backups may remain for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Your choices and rights
- Access and update: you can view and update most of your account information in the app.
- Delete your account: contact us at support@froppio.com to request deletion of your account and personal information.
- Request a copy or correction: contact us to request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you.
- Browser storage: you can block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. This may affect sign-in and preferences and does not stop all server-side logging.
- Text messages: reply STOP to the sending number or contact the sending business or us, as described above.
- Emails: transactional and account emails are part of the Services. If we ever send marketing emails, you will be able to unsubscribe from them at any time.
Depending on where you live in the United States, state law may give you additional rights, such as the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to appeal our decision on a request. To exercise these rights, email support@froppio.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. Clients of a business should first contact the business directly.
Washington health data
Some businesses that use Froppio, such as health and wellness providers, may collect information that is considered consumer health data under Washington's My Health My Data Act. We process this information only on behalf of those businesses and as needed to provide the Services. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. Washington residents may contact the business or us at support@froppio.com to exercise their rights under that law.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
Links to other sites
The Services may contain links to websites or services that we do not operate, including business websites and third-party services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the Services or by email before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
